ARTICLE 1: SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the business activities of SENSAS Brussels, a private limited company registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 1041.894.420, whose registered office is located at Rue de Livourne 65, 1050 Ixelles, and which operates its business at its establishment at the same address under the “SENSAS” brand (hereinafter referred to as “SENSAS Brussels”). They are made available to any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website https://bruxelles.sensas.top (hereinafter referred to as “the Customer”) and set out the contractual provisions and conditions applicable to any booking made on this website.
ARTICLE 2: ACTIVITY
The purpose of SENSAS Brussels is to create, organise and market an educational team entertainment experience designed to test and develop the five senses, through an educational and positive approach aimed at raising participants’ awareness of disabilities. The experience takes place at the SENSAS Brussels establishment located at Rue de Livourne 65, 1050 Ixelles.
ARTICLE 3: ORDERS – BOOKINGS
Access to the facilities and services of SENSAS Brussels is available exclusively upon booking via the website https://bruxelles.sensas.top/reservation.html. The Customer selects the number of participants and the desired ticket type (adult, child or, where applicable, student, etc.), followed by the desired date and time of attendance. The Customer then enters their personal or professional contact details and makes an online payment of a deposit by bank card in order to confirm the booking. The booking is valid for a specific date and time and is valid only for that time slot. Bookings are subject to availability, which is updated in real time on the website https://bruxelles.sensas.top/reservation.html. A booking shall only become firm and final upon receipt by the Customer of a confirmation email sent by SENSAS Brussels. The Customer may not book a session less than 24 hours before the desired time of attendance.
ARTICLE 4: PRICES – PAYMENT
4.1 – Prices
The prices indicated by SENSAS Brussels are expressed in euros and include all applicable taxes, taking into account the VAT applicable on the date of the order. Any change in the VAT rate may be reflected in the price of the services without prior notice.
SENSAS Brussels reserves the right to modify the prices displayed on its website at any time.
In all cases, the service shall be charged on the basis of the prices in force and displayed on the website at the time the Customer makes their booking.
4.2 – Payment
For orders placed via the SENSAS Brussels website, payment of the deposit required to confirm the booking may be made by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Maestro), or by means of a SENSAS gift voucher. Any other method of payment shall be refused.
With regard to payment of the outstanding balance on the day of the Customer’s visit, the same methods of payment are accepted, as well as payment in cash and certain payment vouchers, such as holiday vouchers.
ARTICLE 5 – CANCELLATION
When placing an order / booking via the SENSAS Brussels website https://bruxelles.sensas.top, pursuant to Article L.221-28, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised for contracts relating to leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
The Customer may request, free of charge, a change to the date and/or time of the service. Such a request must be made by email to contact-bruxelles@sensas.ms, no later than 7 days before the scheduled date of the service.
If the Customer’s team consists of fewer than 4 people 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the service shall nevertheless be payable for 4 people, and the Customer shall not be entitled to any refund.
If the Customer’s team does not arrive within 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the service shall remain payable for the number of people indicated in the booking, and the Customer shall not be entitled to any refund.
In the event of force majeure requiring the closure of the SENSAS Brussels centre on the date and at the time scheduled for the Customer’s visit, SENSAS Brussels shall issue and provide the Customer with a credit corresponding to the amount of the deposit paid at the time of booking. This credit shall take the form of a promotional code valid for one year and may be used to make a booking at the SENSAS Brussels centre.
When purchasing a gift voucher via the SENSAS Brussels website https://bruxelles.sensas.top, pursuant to Article L.221-18:
- The consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal from a contract concluded remotely, following telephone solicitation or concluded off-premises, without having to justify their decision or incur any costs other than those provided for in Articles L.221-23 to L.221-25. The period referred to in the first paragraph shall run from the date on which the contract is concluded, for service contracts and contracts referred to in Article L.221-4.
ARTICLE 6 – ACCESS TO THE FACILITIES AND HOUSE RULES
Each experience is organised for teams of 4 to 60 people and lasts 2 hours. Teams must arrive in full no later than five minutes before the start time of the experience. The experience is offered in French.
Access to the facilities is reserved for persons aged 7 and over. Adaptations are available for persons with disabilities.
Animals are strictly prohibited from entering the facilities. Participants are invited to leave their bags and personal belongings – including their mobile phones – in a cloakroom equipped with lockers locked with keys. SENSAS Brussels cannot be held liable in the event of the disappearance of personal belongings from said lockers.
For the purposes of the game, players will be required to handle objects and equipment. It is strictly forbidden to break or damage these objects and facilities.
In order to preserve the interest and confidentiality of the game, all audio or video recordings and all photographs are strictly prohibited in the facilities associated with the sensory course: workshops and airlocks. Participants may freely make audio or video recordings or take photographs in areas outside the sensory course, including the cloakroom, tilted room, briefing area, reception area and corridors.
SENSAS Brussels staff reserves the right to exclude any person or persons, or to deny access to the facilities to any person or persons who demonstrate disrespect towards any person present on the premises or towards the facilities themselves. This includes, in particular, physical violence and verbal abuse in the form of sexist, homophobic or insulting messages, as well as any behaviour that disrupts the activities conducted by the staff and consequently interferes with the smooth running of the entertainment experience for each participant. If a person is excluded from the facilities, they shall remain liable for the full price of the service, and their share of the deposit already paid shall not be refunded.
If SENSAS Brussels issues specific house rules relating to health measures, each participant shall be required to comply with such rules as displayed in the establishment’s cloakroom.
ARTICLE 7: PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
By making a booking through the SENSAS Brussels website, the Customer consents to the collection of personal data necessary to ensure the proper processing of bookings. SENSAS Brussels undertakes never to disclose such information to third parties except where required or permitted by law.
The Customer has the right to access, amend, rectify and delete data concerning them (Article 34 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978). To exercise this right, the Customer should contact SENSAS Brussels by post at its address as displayed on the page https://bruxelles.sensas.top.
With regard to the collection of the Customer’s telephone data when placing an order and pursuant to Article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has the right to register on the telephone marketing opt-out list known as BLOCTEL.
ARTICLE 8 – OWNERSHIP
All elements, texts, videos and images on the website https://bruxelles.sensas.top are the exclusive property of SENSAS Brussels. Any reproduction is strictly prohibited.
ARTICLE 9 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale have been in force since 1 September 2020.
